Got to know this group after seriously fallen head over heel to Benji Kuriakose. (Those who watched The Voice 3, you will know who this person is.)

Immediately became a stalker, and finally got to know he's in this band. And yeah, bought their EP already. Ngeh ngeh ngeh. (Tq Hubby for the paypal. :p )

Benji's voice is so beautiful. Damn you Adam Levigne for not choosing him on your team. I'm still holding grudge on you. ^@%$@Q^

Movie Review 6: Snow white and The Huntsman

Salam semua.

Dah lama tak buat movie review. Bukan tak tengok movie, tapi jari ni malas sangat. *pap!! pukul jari sendiri*

Jadi mak tengok movie ni Sabtu lepas dengan hubby and adik mak. Ada kisah masa tengok movie ni tapi nanti mak letak lepas abeh review.

So this movie is basically a new rendition of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs yang kita selalu baca or tengok masa kecik dulu. Watak yang sama ada dalam ni, cuma tambah The Huntsman. *or mak yang tak pernah tau ada watak Hunstman dalam Snow White asal?* Cuma yang lainnya, masa mula2 Snow White jumpa dwarfs tu, ada 8 orang. lepas kena serang dengan geng adik mak tiri Snow White yang jahat, baru tinggal 7 lepas mati sorang. Puas mak ngan hubby mak mengira dari mula keluar watak dwarfs ni. And the ending also differ from the fairy tale. Ending yang tak disangka and mak tak suka! *mak ni typical suka ending fairy tale sebab cikgu kan? Selalu bacakan anak2 murid cerita dongeng*

But nevertheless, the team had done a good job. The graphic, CGI and all adalah bagus. The soundtrack pun terbaik. Mak suka lagu penamat dia tu, nak tunggu tengok lagu apa tapi sebab nak kejarkan Asar, mak keluar je dari panggung. *sebenarnya hubby dah bagi signal dehem banyak2 kali*

sinopsis movie ni mak celup je dari website lain sebab mak malas tulis. haha *ampun yek* Anda boleh baca dengan klik ---> ini.

Dan ini beberapa point mak tentang movie ni:

1) Mak banyak baca ramai orang cakap Kristen Stewart berlakon tak best dalam movie ni sebab dia banyak terpengaruh dengan watak Bella dalam Twilight. But as for me, that is who she really is. Mak ada tengok movie dia yang lain, and memang reaction, expression, muka, gaya dia adalah begitu. Dia memang pelakon yang ada muka yang expressionless. Macam takde jiwa. Bagi mak, she did well in this movie. Tapi maybe sebab kita dah biasa tengok dia dalam sequel Twilight, so kita tak dapat bezakan dia dengan movie lain. Sama lah macam mak tengok abang Robert Pattinson *idaman hati jejaki seluruh dunia* dalam movie lain macam Remember Me pun, mak tak dapat terima at first sebab mak terbiasa tengok dia as Edward Cullen. But then, bagi mereka ruang, peeps. Tak mudah nak keluar dari roh watak tu bila dah terlalu lama dengan watak tu. :)

2) Charlize Theron indeed adalah yang terbaik dalam movie ni. She did really well that I despised her the most masa tengok movie ni. Her screams, her face, her movement, memang wallaweh! :)

3) William? Err..Hensem. kikiki

4) The Huntsman? Er...no komen. ;p

5) Overall, jalan cerita yang baik. Twist dari fairy tale yang biasa and bawak audience ke ending yang bukannya ending cerita dongeng biasa. Good job guys! :)


Kisah di sebalik movie ni:
Mak n hubby cadang mula2 nak tengok kat Sunway Pyramid Jumaat tu, sambil2 pegi beli makanan Cing dengan Compok. Tapi punyala ramai Ummat manusia ari tu. Nak beratur pun tak lalu! Last2 hubby beli tiket gsc online pakai fon. Tapi kami kena gi Summit USJ. Takpelah, dekat je pun Summit dengan Sunway Pyramid. Bila dah masuk panggung, syok2 tengok movie, dan dan bila sampai part Charlize Theron jerit "LOYALTY, LOYALTY, LOYALTY!" *kalau anda tengok movie ni, anda akan tahu part mana* sekali panggung gelap. Movie stopped kat situ. Kami tunggu jugak, kot2 nak buat lawak si GSC ni. Sekali masuk mamat sorang tu, kata Summit BLACKOUT. So kami boleh either tunggu electric datang balik or refund je tiket. apakah??? Hubby and me decided to refund the ticket je. jadinya, kami sambung tengok movie ni esoknya kat Bukit Raja pulak. huhu T_T

Movie Review 5: Transformers 3: Dark of The Moon

Salam ols.

Sorry terlewat apdet. Watched this movie last Monday. It was a school holiday for my school and I grabbed that chance to go and watch the movie with my sister. We went to Summit USJ as soon as I picked my sister up from her school.

How was the story?

MARVELOUS.

Sentinel Prime was brought to live by Optimus Prime after series of 'pakatan' with human being. Why must they bring Sentinel Prime back to live? Because only Sentinel can activate pillars to connect their world with the Earth. The rest of the story?

YOU JUST HAVE TO GO AND WATCH IT.

I don't know why some people said the movie is not fun watching compared to Transformers 2 but for me, personally, IT IS MARVELOUS.

For the record, I shed my tears twice: when Bumblebee and his friends are about to be sent home and when Bumblebee is about to be killed. T_T

The synopsis:

"Transformers 3" features Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) taking his first tenuous steps into adulthood while remaining a reluctant human ally of Optimus Prime. The film centers around the space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA, suggesting there was a hidden Transformers role in it all that remains one of the planet's most dangerous secrets. The villain of the third film will be Shockwave.

The pictures the sound effect, everything about the movie is just great! :)

So go and grab your tickets guys. Jangan menyesal. ;p

Movie Review 4: KL Gangster

**Another scheduled entry from me.**


Okay, so I watched this movie rather late than anyone outside. So what? At least I went to the cinema and watched it. Not just by buying the movie from AstroFirst. ;p

The movie is about Malik, who just got out of the jail in a cleaned-state but still being bothered by his shadows from the past *his kongsi gelap life*. The koncos, the gangs, the friendship, the brotherhood are still haunting him till he have to join them for the last time- to pay back what Shark *one of the Taiko* had done to him, his family and his friend.

Ni sinopsis:

Malik adalah seorang yaang amat digeruni di kota Kuala Lumpur kerana kehebatannya. Dia telah membuat satu empayar gangster bersama sahabatnya King tapi malangnya dia telah diperangkap anak tiri King, Shark yang gila kuasa lalu dipenjarakan. Tenpoh Malik dalam penjara dah habis dan dia telah bebas. Niat dia adalah untuk mengubah masa lampau dan cuci tangan dari dunia gangster. Malangnya adik kandung nya Jai seorang yang tamak dan terlalu pentingkan wang juga telah menjadi salah seorang daripada gangster besar. Shark juga tidak putus-putus mencabar Malik…

Okay, from the synopsis I guess you all can already know the ending and the whole story line. :)

The picture is just great, just like what I've always expected from a person named Samsul Yusof. The cinematography, the sound effect *sampai nak pekak jadinye sebab hall tu kecik, and sound dia kuat sangat* were just great. Another suweeeeeet buah tangan from Samsul Yusof I guess. Like father like son, huh? :)

So KUDOS to all the team again, for giving me such a great time watching the movie.

Yang paling takleh lupa dalam movie ni is the existence of a character named 'Abang Long Dil'. He is such a 'penyeri' in this movie. Like a rose in all the thorns. hahahaha~ Zizan memang terbaik la. You made me laugh at all the times you showed up in the movie, dude!

What I learned from this movie is- people can easily change, and for worse, forget their own bloodline if it's about money. I guess the saying 'Money can buy anything' is right after all, aite? For Power and Money, people would go the extent of killing and biting their own flesh! Urgh, I don't like that. But that's life. And we are living the life. Aren't we?

The movie was great. However, there are some things I would like to highlight. What caused me discomfort throughout this movie are:

1) The story started 30 minutes late than the scheduled time! We have to watch adds for half an hour? What the fish GSC OU??

2) The hall lighting. You guys should really work on this. How is it possible to have the hall lighten up TWICE when the movie is about to start?

3) There was a TALL person sitting in front of me. So everytime he sat straight, I have to tilt. Because I cannot see the whole screen. *Okay, I am short.*

4) As stated above, the sound. The hall was small, yet the sound is larger than it should be. Speaker pulak dekat ngan audience. Pekak mak, nokkk~

5) This movie is rated PG13 aite? So WTH were there kids and babies in the hall??? The movie is full with violent actions and yet the kids were watching it. Now we know from where they learned to fight with their friends at school. Duh.


Anyway, guys, this is another worth-watching movie. So go and grab your tickets! *Please do not literally grab the tickets. Ask politely from the person in charge at the counter please. :)*

Movie Review 3: Sekali Lagi

Watched this movie last Friday with my bestie, Siti Sarah and dearest sis, Ijah.
**biar la mama and abah were going to Johor to help my Angah find a house to rent because she got a job offer at Pasir Gudang pun, gigih jugak keluar awal nak tengok wayang. Tapi after salam2 mohon restu from the parents okayh? Diorang nak jalan jauh. :) **

At first, macam tak senang ati jugak la nak tengok movie ni sebab still rasa phobia after watching Shaheizy Sam in 'Kongsi' but Alhamdulillah, tak rasa menyesal pun macam lepas tengok Kongsi. ;p Masa mula start, punya la gelabah nak tengok sape Pengarah sebab takut kalau pengarah cite ni adalah Encik FK. Kalau betul2 FK, memang I cabut lari keluar panggung. ;p Sib baik bukan.

Sekali Lagi is about a woman named Shiela (Lisa Surihani) who fell in love with a guy named Arman (Bintang Popular 2010: Shaheizy Sam) and after that...yaadi yaadi yaada *benda yang jadi lepas jatuh cinta* Then come Amy (dem super cute Mia Sara Nasuha) yang suddenly berkawan dengan a guy yang her mom (Shiela) tak approve. Why? Kenapa Shiela tak kasi Amy kawan dengan that guy?

You should watch why.

The ending is just great. I've been silently pray that Pak Haghis *ikut sebutan Lisa Surihani* tak end up kecewa gila baban tak dapat kawen dengan **************** (banyak plak bintang sensor tu) and I got the ending I wanted. Yiiiihaaaa~ ^__^

The story line is just great. You'll know it's a good and worth-watching movie when even the story had ended, you are still mimicking the actor or actress while walking out of the hall. ;p And yes, I did that. Tak caye? Tanya Sarah or Ijah. Ngeh ngeh ngeh.

For those who still don't have the time to watch this movie, you should find some. It was really good. Not that typical *jiwang-senang nak agak ending macam mana* punya Malay movie.

And thru this movie, I learned that after a brain-tumor operation, one might get brain damaged and couldn't live the life he or she had lived before. And I thought it was Autism (or Automatik-Arman said) and yet I still wonder, how can an older person get Autism sampai la ending cerita tu. :) For all I know, a child is born with Autism kan? kan kan kan? **TOLONGLAH BETULKAN SAYA KALAU SAYA TERSILAP**

All in all, the movie is worth-watching, and it is never a disappointment to those who loves a happy ending story. :)

KUDOS to all the actors, actresses and the crews. The Director, Thumbs Up! You did a great job! ^____^

Movie Review 2: Nur Kasih The Movie

Watched the movie just now.

Perasaan lepas tengok? Puas Hati. yang amat. kenapa?

Kisah yang menceritakan tentang akhir perjalanan cinta Nur Amina dan Adam, tentang hubungan kekeluargaan, yang paling penting, tentang tuntutan Agama. Juga tentang apa yang manusia sanggup berikan dan lakukan demi cinta. Tak kisahlah cinta sesama kekasih, cinta abang pada adik, hatta cinta seorang anak murid kepada cikgu.

Ending yang diharapkan, walaupun terpusing ke sana dan ke mari, tapi aku masih dapat melihat penamat seperti yang dijangka. Cuma, setelah tamat siaran, aku rasa lelah.

Kenapa?


Dari awal cerita, start je epilog, aku dah dijamu dengan krisis. krisis after krisis berterusan sampailah ke akhir cerita. Garapan yang sempurna, cuma olahan krisis tu membuatkan aku sebagai orang yang menonton merasa penat. Rasa macam diberi tamparan demi tamparan bertubi-tubi hingga ke akhir.

Even so, Khabir Bhatia, you're simply the best. sinematografi yang cantik. Olahan yang menarik. Cuma mungkin memegang title sebagai 'Movie' memaksa kisah Nur Amina dan Adam dimampankan menjadi sarat. Berbeza dari drama yang memberi ruang dan waktu untuk penonton melepaskan lelah setelah tamat sesuatu krisis sebelum dihadapkan dengan krisis seterusnya. Dalam filem ini, penonton terpaksa menahan jantung dari berkecai secara berterusan selama 1 jam setengah.

Hafiz Hamidun, as the music director, you've done a great job. Muzik yang disajikan kepada kami sebagai penonton bersatu penuh dengan cerita sehingga menjadi pendorong air mata untuk mengalir laju!

Tahniah kepada team Nur Kasih. Anda semua berjaya membuatkan saya mengalir air mata dari awal hingga akhir cerita. Dari 5 bintang, saya berikan 5. Jika boleh lebih, saya berikan 6. Itupun jika krisis nya dikurangkan. ;p

Tiz Zaqyah, anda memang terbaik!

Movie Review 1: Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa

As expected, they never failed to impress me. They always come out with something sooo different from others and as the result, they have the special place in my heart, since I was still a small kid.

Who they are?

The awesome KRU brothers of course.

I have never written a Movie review, nor a book review before but after watching the so called 'filem terulung di Malaysia': HMM, my fingers were itchy enough to dance on the keyboard, writing something about the movie.

It started off with a 'jantan' voice, telling us a history about the first ruler of a place in Tanah Melayu. And the story evolves around what happened before, when and after the person called 'Merong Mahawangsa' was appointed to be the first ruler.

I never took my eyes off the screen during the movie. The sound system was great. The pictures were great. The storyline? There might be an issue about the transition but it was great enough for a 2-hour movie when a normal epic movie would take up to 3 hours.

Personally, I think this is a great start. Yusry Abdul Halim had successfully nailed the magnificent first step for Malaysians Directors and script writers to start with a genre that is not so typical malay movie type and soooo cintan cintun. The script was great. The actors and actresses were great. The cinematography was great. The whole story was great! Two thumbs up for Yusry.

It is simply a Malay Movie that is worth watching. Yusry had definitely did a thorough research on the history, and the script came out to be great. The CGI? Let's not talk about that. I believe everyone had witnessed Yusry's ability in the area from his previous movies: Cicakman and Cicakman 2.

The moral values of friendship, brotherhood, loyalty and love were there. Not forgetting how awful human can be when he is controlled by power. And how a tragedy could change human's perception and behavior.

All I could say is: Yusry, 4.5 out of 5 stars for you!
